The best decision you can make for your life is to walk away from anything that stand in the way of your happiness. Life is too short to live it unhappy.
Trump’s rise to presidency was not an accident. White Evangelicals were opposed to Barack Obama and they resisted his presidency. Not surprising as this was the same group of people who for centuries used the bible to convince black folks that slavery was justified by God and they should obey their masters. It did not please them to see one elevate to the height of presidency.
Not once did they say God bless President Obama. But God sits high and he looks low and he blessed Obama’s presidency. Eight years, no scandal, no chaos. He ruled with dignity and integrity.
Then came Donald Trump, a man known for unfair business deals, a womanizer and adulterer. A man who spoke derogatory about women even going as far as saying he grab them by the pu..y.
Evangelicals presented him as a man of God. They claimed he was sent by God and he was going to do great things for America. Their overpowering influence caused many to believe the lie.
But unlike Obama who they despised; Trump’s presidency was rocked by one scandal after another. It was full of hate, bigotry, and division. Many of the people around him were either accused of crimes or convicted for crimes. He failed to put the people first when the Corona Virus crisis hit, focusing more on the stock market.
White Evangelicals tried to fool the people again not knowing Trump’s purpose had already been accomplished and God had exposed them for who they are.
The funny thing is, Trump could have made a difference in uniting the people. He could perhaps have convinced his base who were mainly white, racist individuals that he was president for all, and he wanted a nation where people of all color or race live in unity. His base adored him. They might have listened. Instead he fueled the flames of hate and division.
That is not of God. That is not who God is. That was not what well thinking Americans wanted for the country. The people have spoken and he need to respect the wishes of the American people.
Change is wonderful in order for us not to become stagnant. We must adapt, grow, and evolve when circumstances demand it. Nothings stays the same forever. Therefore, we must learn to embrace change.
“Life is like a storybook, intricately woven with many twists and turns. However, unlike a storybook it is more complex, more unpredictable. In a storybook, you get to know all the characters and you know how the story ends. Life is unpredictable about who you will encounter, and you cannot guarantee how your story will end. The key is to live a life that others can emulate. When you are gone from this earth let it be said that this person came, lived, showed love and made a difference.”
In the midst of this coronavirus crisis we need to stay calm. The unknown is often scary and one will feel afraid. However we should not allow fear to hold us prisoners. This too shall pass!
I Can go on
I can go on,
In spite of shattered dreams,
And broken promises, I can go on.
I can go on,
When all seems lost,
And sorrow seems to,
Fragment my heart, I can go on.
I can go on,
When pain seems to be
My best friend,
And joy threatens to subside, I can go on.
I can forget
The hurt of yesterday,
And embrace tomorrow,
If I have love in my heart,
No matter what
May come my way,
I can and I will go on.
The world will break you if you let it. Sometimes life may get overwhelming. Nothing seem to go right and you want to make a change but you are afraid. What if things don't go right. But on the flip side, what if it does. Be courageous. Do not allow your fears to hold you back. Take that step. It could lead to success.

The Empowered Woman
Every woman has the ability to experience personal growth and development. This first step begins with you adopting a positive attitude towards life. You must have a fervent desire to rise above any problem or circumstances that may be holding you back.
Be aware of your environment and social connections. If your circle of friends are negative, unproductive people who add nothing to your growth, you need to change them. Set achievable goals for your life and devise a plan on how you are going to reach those goals. Make a chart of the things you hope to achieve and set a time frame.
Push yourself to achieve your daily or weekly goals. Be in touch with your spiritual side. It is always a good thing to believe in a higher power to sustain you and lift you up. Find something that motivates you and give you hope. Knowledge is very important so read widely on topics that interest you. Read to increase your intelligence or simply for recreation. You will be surprised at how much you can learn from making a habit of reading. Above all as you go through each day have a strong belief in self and your ability to be successful.
A few days ago I went to the movies with my daughters and sitting in the theater I found myself wondering… What if someone should come in shooting? Where could we run? Where could we hide? I was a little alarmed at having those thought because I don’t usually worry when I go to the movies. However with the frequency shootings are taking place, these are serious and well founded questions. We all have to have a plan on how we can try to survive if the unexpected happens.
Guns take lives. Guns create fear. The right of some to own guns should not impact on the rights of others to live.
The world would be a better place if we all came together and each one help the other. From nations and governments to the common man. If we all could work together and try to get along what a wonderful world this would be!
