If life makes you weary stop and take a rest. Smell the roses and enjoy the sunshine. It is pointless to wear yourself out and not enjoy the simple pleasures along the way on the journey of life.

Life is short, cut out negativity,
forget gossip, say goodbye to people

Letting Go
At some point you have to let go of what is causing you pain. You were not meant to live life as a victim. Rise up, soar like an eagle and claim your happiness. Only you have control over your life.
Self Love
It is important for every woman to love herself. A woman who does not love herself often engages in negative thoughts about herself. Over time these negative thoughts serve to erode her self-confidence and self-esteem. She is more likely to accept abuse in relationships because she believes can’t do any better.
Punished for Being Beautiful
The following poem is a tribute to all the girls around the world who still have to endure the horror of breast ironing.
Punished for Being Beautiful
She is beautiful and she is so afraid,
In a perfect world her beauty would be a blessing,
But in her world it is something of a curse.
Boys will look at her,
Men will lust after her,
And for this she is punished.
Hot, searing iron is thrust into her breasts,
Her womanhood has to be disguised,
She is told It is for her own protection.
She carries the horror of this torture in her heart,
She wonders who will protect her,
From the pain of the hot iron being thrust into her breasts.
Who will protect her from the psychological scars
And from the physical pain,
Who will protect her from the distress
When she looks in the mirror and sees
Her scarred disfigured breasts.
She cries silently into her pillow
And she wonders is her pain will ever end.
There are Times in Life….
Empowerment
Throughout history women have had to fight and claw their way to get recognition in a male dominated world. This is not because women are not good enough, not educated, talented, or as hardworking as her male counterpart. However the stereotype that governs society dictates that she is the weaker sex and she is treated accordingly. Let us be clear women are important and play a vital role in society not only as mother and a wife but as unique human beings who are equal to their male counterparts.
