This year I plan to focus a lot more on my writing and promoting my books. I might even ask you guys to give me an honest review on my current work in progress- ALONE GIRL- This is a story of a girl and her struggles as she seeks acceptance of a father who rejects her and tries to find her place in the world.

The year 2018 is almost over. It has been a most interesting year in every aspect. Some saw successes, some experienced hard times. However the most important thing is that we made it out alive, many didn’t so we must be grateful.
I did not accomplish as much writing as I would have liked to. Books didn’t get published as planned but it is okay. I can still make those dreams come true in 2019. With a bit of persistence, dedication and hard work it will happen.

Every year we are urged to get a flu shot. They try to convince us that it is an effective measure against the flu. They have created a sense of urgency around these yearly vaccines and a false sense that it is absolutely necessary. In some sector it is mandatory that workers receive a yearly flu shot without any real evidence to to support the fact that it works.
The truth is many people have developed the flu after receiving a flu shot. I know of people who have gotten sick with the flu right after receiving a flu shot. I too have experienced this. They want to make it seem that it is nothing but a coincidence. If it is I need someone to explain to me why is it that I only get flu symptoms after getting a flu shot. My most recent flu shot was last Friday by Sunday I was having sneezing, itchy throat and runny nose which I am still dealing with. Is this a coincidence?
The flu shot has no guarantee of preventing or lessen the chances one getting the flu and in many cases it is contributing to make people get ill and the CDC knows this. It raises the question. Who really benefit from these Flu vaccine, the people who take it or the people who manufacture it. Your thoughts….
When I see what is going on around the country it makes me wonder how will all this play out in the end. Seeds of hate and division are sprouting all around us. We are becoming a nation divided… a nation where only people of a certain skin color are welcome. Ironically those who profess to be evangelicals seems to see nothing wrong with the hateful rhetorics and the seed of hate they are being sewed. They turn a blind eye. Safe in their religion they have forgotten that the Christ they profess to serve is one of love and acceptance. We must renounce hate and bigotry and come together as one nation.
The world has become a place where there is so much hate and lack of unity. People are turning on others out of pure hate. The question I have to ask is why all this hate? Why is it so difficult for all of us to coexist and get along. How can each of us play a part in healing our world instead of being a part of the problem? We need to be more accepting of others and understand that everyone deserves the right to live and be happy.
Aretha Franklin has died at the age of 76. The queen of soul who has been ill for a while, took a turn for the worst. She was reported days ago to be in hospice care. She passed away today after her long battle with pancreatic cancer. At the time of her passing she was surrounded by family and friends.
She had a great career and her music will continue to live on. Condolences to her family!
There is the need for greater support for women and girls who become victims of human trafficking. More need to be done to eradicate sex trafficking and sex slavery of our women and girls. There is the need for greater awareness. If you suspect that a woman or girl is at risk say something. These vulnerable women and girls must be protected.
People who engage in acts of sex trafficking and holding women as sex slaves should face harsh punishment. We must protect or girls and women and give them a voice. If you suspect that someone is the victim of human trafficking call the Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888
