The Most Important Things in Life

Thank God that the most important things in life are free. Can you image needing oxygen to breathe and not having the money to buy it. What a terrible thing that would be. Yes thank heavens that the most important things in life are free.

It’s a lovely day to praise the Lord,
A day that’s fresh and new
That’s filled with Nature‘s beauty,
Created just for you.

It’s a lovely day to look, to see
The flowers, the trees, the birds.
The music of their voices rings,
None sweeter can be heard.

It’s a lovely day to thank the Lord
As all around we see
The vastness of blue skies above
And feel the Summer breeze.

It’s a lovely day to thank and praise
For a world that’s all in tune,
The wonders of the ocean’s tides,
The stars, the sun the moon.

It’s a lovely day to think of how
He cares for us each day.
As we journey in this life,
He’s there to lead the way.

It’s a lovely day because He gives
A hope that we can share
On earth a glimpse of Heaven
Where mansions are prepared.

A day to see, to thank, to praise
For such a God of love,
For blessings here on earth He gives
And eternal life above.

Believe in God’s faithfulness
In whatever you do,
Believe in His wisdom
To do right by you,
For His knowledge surpasses
The wisest of men
And His power is greater
Than we comprehend.
With One such as He
In our hearts, by our side,
We can walk down life’s roads
With a confident stride.
And though there are troubles
And trials in this life,
Know the great God of Heaven
Can handle your strife.

As we approach the end of 2011 we must all give God thanks for taking us through the year and for helping us through all the problems and obstacles that came our way.  Let 2012 be a year of new beginnings, a year of renewed hopes and dreams, a year of progress for us all.      Let us continue to trust in God for his guidance to see us through 2012.  A very happy and prosperous 2012 to one and all.
