You may be at a crossroad in your life where your hopes and expectations still seem a far way from being achieved. You may wonder why it is taking you so long, why the journey has been so difficult. The important thing is to keep your eyes on the goal, never lose focus and never give up.

We sometimes look down our noses at homeless people and classify them as lazy, not ambitious enough or less than.
The truth is, homelessness is not something anyone would wish on themselves. The average person loves nothing more than to have a roof over his or her head and a place to sleep. But sometimes life happens…circumstances beyond our control.
Natural disasters render people homeless take for instance the fires in California this year or hurricanes like Hurricane Sandy. The loss of a job or illness in the family can contribute to homelessness. So next time you encounter a homeless person don’t be too quick to judge. Life sometimes take us along paths we would never wish to travel but as long as there is life there is hope. My wish is that everyone that is homeless find shelter this winter.
Life is more than what we see
