Does He Have Multiple Baby Mothers

Ladies this is the year that we have to get real about relationships and ensure that we take the right path and make the right decisions.

A man with multiple baby mothers is probably a mover. Often times he is afraid of the responsibility of fatherhood so he keeps moving on once a child gets in the picture. A man like that rarely makes commitments to any woman and often times he is never there for his children.

This is clearly the type of man who you should stay away from. If you are unfortunate enough to fall under his spell make sure you don’t end up being another of his baby mama, unless of course you are prepared to raise your child alone. Don’t fool yourself into believing that you can change him because these kind of men often live this lifestyle until life bites them in the ass. Don’t waste your time with someone like this.

It’s A New Day

Don’t dwell on the past, it is behind you. Look to the future in front of you. Make peace with those who you are at odds with and make peace with yourself. Don’t stay stuck focusing on the mistakes you have made. Today is an opportunity for a fresh start and another chance to get it right.

Any Bad Habit You Want to Lose in 2017?

I don’t know how many of you have this habit but for me procrastination is one habit that I want to lose in 2017. I keep putting things off or wait until the last-minute to get it done. Does anyone else have this habit? If so here is what we are going to do about it in 2017.

Get a small note-book and each night before you go to bed make a list of the things you want to get done the next day. Make sure you set achievable and realistic goals. Look at your list during the course of the day just as a reminder because when you are getting old like me, we tend to forget things.

At the end of each day look over your list, tick off the things you have accomplished and give yourself a pat on the back for all you got done.If you didn’t do it all aim to get it done the next day. Let’s try and see if it works.

Hang in There

Smile, be happy, laugh a lot,
Don’t shed another tear;
A wonderful life is waiting for you,
So face it without fear.
There’ll be problems to solve, hurdles to cross,
Work hard and know you can cope.
With God at your side, Him as your guide,
Each day will bring new hope.
Days will pass by and turn into years,
The ache in your heart soon will heal;
Keep your faith and know that God always cares,
So tackle each new day with zeal.
Courage my friend, and trust be with you,
Accomplish each task with a grin;
Hang in there, you will make it I know,
Remember your God, you have him.

An Act of Kindness

Fables

Fables are often tales with life lessons that can guide us in our everyday life. As a young child I remember reading a lot of them. I am going to share one of my favorite one with you.

 The Lion on the Mouse

A Lion lay asleep in the forest, his great head resting on his paws.

A timid little Mouse came upon him unexpectedly, and in her fright and haste to get away, ran across the Lion’s nose.

Roused from his nap, the Lion laid his huge paw angrily on the tiny creature to kill her.

“Spare me!” begged the poor Mouse. “Please let me go and some day I will surely repay you.”

The Lion was much amused to think that a Mouse could ever help him. But he was generous and finally let the Mouse go.

Some days later, while stalking his prey in the forest, the Lion was caught in the toils of a hunter’s net.

Unable to free himself, he filled the forest with his angry roaring. The Mouse knew the voice and quickly found the Lion struggling in the net.

Running to one of the great ropes that bound him, she gnawed it until it parted, and soon the Lion was free.

“You laughed when I said I would repay you,” said the Mouse. “Now you see that even a Mouse can help a Lion.”

The Moral Is: Never hesitate to help someone in need because the day may come when you may need help too.

Relationships

Are you Facing Emotional Abuse?

We have all heard the saying “Sticks and stones can break my bones but words can never hurt me.” But let’s face it we all know this is not true. There is  nothing more hurtful than to have someone who you love put you down with his words, insults you and say hurtful words that makes you feel worthless.

Many women suffer emotional abuse from their partners. A man will say hurtful things to a woman, which can literally tear her apart, break her down and make her feel as if she is not worthy of his love. Often he erodes her self-esteem and little by little she begins to think less of herself.

One thing ever woman must understand is that love is not supposed to hurt. If he hurts you emotionally then his kind of love is  not right for you. Be true to yourself and walk away because you deserve better.

It’s Christmas

A Season Set Apart

Image result for christmas wallpaper

This is a season set apart for giving
Our gifts that warm the heart,
As we celebrate Christ’s birthday
In a season set apart.
A season set apart for showing
How much we truly care
For those we share our lives with
And miss when they are not there.
A season set apart for going
That fabled “extra mile”
To help a needy stranger                                        image credit TheHolidaySpot
And leave him with a smile.
A season set apart for loving
All creature great and small
In honor of the Christ Child
Who loved them one and all.
It’s the season of thanksgiving
For all we have received,
For once upon a Christmas day,
He came and we believed.
