Maintain Your Individuality

Maintain your individuality in a relationship. Allow someone to share your life but never allow that person to become your life. Despite your best efforts a relationship may fail to work out. If that person who is your life walks away what will you have left?  It is much harder for someone who considers the other person to be his or her life to bounce back after a breakup. In fact some individuals have been known to commit suicide because they accept the breakup to mean tht their life is over. Breakups are hard but by maintaining your individuality you will find it easier to cope.

What Every Woman Needs

“Every woman needs these three things: Self-Esteem, Self-Love, and Self-Confidence. A female that possess all three is an empowered and unstoppable Queen. She knows her worth! Everything about her represents quality. Her happiness comes from within, first. She respects herself. She values who she is. She’s not easily impressed or persuaded by people or things. She has purpose and direction! An admirable being is what she is: Extraordinary and highly desirable. She’s an Unparalleled Woman.”

Woman of the Week

Starting Today Monday July 10, I am going to feature a Woman of the Week, every week. They will be women in history as well as present day women who have impacted significantly on society and in some cases the world.

Week 1

Our Woman of the Week is: Susan B Anthony (February 15, 1820 – March 13, 1906)

Susan B Anthony was an American Human Rights Activists. In an era when women had no voice, she fought for the rights of women. In 1852 she along with a colleague founded the New York Women’s State Temperance Society, after she was prevented from speaking at a temperance conference because she was a woman.

Susan was a strong supporter for the abolition of slavery and campaigned for equal rights for people of color. She was a leading figure in the women’s voting rights movement. In 1872 she was arrested for voting in an election. She was convicted but refused to pay the fine. Sadly Susan died before women were allowed the right to vote.

The fight for the rights of women has been an uphill battle. Let us salute this iconic woman who helped to pave the way.

Empowerment

It’s all about Empowerment

“Ladies! I encourage you NOT to be so easily flattered by what a man has. Be flattered by his strength, courage, integrity, and character as a man. Be impressed by his ability to be honest, faithful, loving, and respectful to you. Be impressed because he can communicate and openly express his feelings. Be impressed because he’s got confidence, direction, and purpose in his life. Be impressed because he’s a quality man, NOT a fine man. Real Talk!”

Be a Determined Woman

It is not always easy to make it as a woman but a determined woman knows she must never give up if she wishes to conquer and put to shame the stereotype, which tells her that she is not good enough.

Empowerment

“Women Empowerment Reminder of The Day.
Always respect yourself as a woman. You attract what you are, so be very mindful of how you’re representing yourself. If you want respect, you must first learn how to respect yourself, first. Attracting negative attention is never a good thing. Be a woman of substance! Be a woman that both women and men respect, admire, and look up to. Don’t disrespect yourself by lowering your standards and accepting just anything that comes your way. It’s okay to be single! If you want a relationship of substance, you can’t keep entertaining people and things that mean you no good. Think about it! It’s all up to you.”

5 Secrets to a Happy Life

  1. Accept yourself for who you are and love yourself. You must learn to look in the mirror and love what you see, the image of who you are. Loving yourself is the first step towards happiness.
  2. Make peace with your past. Forgive those who need to be forgiven. Cut ties with those who cares nothing about your happiness. Surround yourself with positive, uplifting people who motivate and inspire you.
  3. Do not harbor bitterness or resentment in your heart towards anyone because in the end it will stifle your inner growth and peace of mind.
  4. Be kind to yourself. Pamper yourself every once in a while. Do something that makes you happy and make it all about you, you deserve it.
  5. Learn to say no. Remember that you are not here to save the world, so do not take on more than you can handle because you might not want to displease someone. You are never going to be able to please everyone or be everything for everyone. You must be able to say no and feel no guilt about doing so.

Respect Each Other

As women we need to look out for, and support each other. Never contribute to the breakdown of another woman’s marriage. Never be part of the reason why someone else relationship didn’t work out. Respect another woman’s relationship in the same way you would want her to respect yours. Together we are stronger. #WomenUnited

Accept Yourself

To every woman I say: Love yourself, Respect yourself, Accept yourself for who you are. Have great expectation for your life. Don’t feel you have settle because you are not good enough. Let no one erode your self-esteem. Strive be happy and at peace with yourself and those around you.
