Life is like a Storybook
“Life is like a storybook, intricately woven with many twists and turns. However, unlike a storybook it is more complex, more unpredictable. In a storybook, you get to know all the characters and you know how the story ends. Life is unpredictable about who you will encounter, and you cannot guarantee how your story will end. The key is to live a life that others can emulate. When you are gone from this earth let it be said that this person came, lived, showed love and made a difference.”

No matter how far you seem to be from where you want to be, never stop trying, and never stop believing that you will get there. The seasons are always changing. Many of us are going through a rough patch now, but change will come. Don’t give way to doubt. Think positive thoughts. God will not only fill your cup, but He will let it overflow with blessings.
Gratitude
Be thankful for today and for your blessings. Don’t wait for tomorrow to enjoy life, because tomorrow is not promised. All we are sure of is today. Make the most of it.

I am Sorry
Sorry is a word people often find difficult to say. And yet, saying those two words can avoid an argument, and even prevent discord among friends. I have seen friendships break up because of people’s refusal to say I’m sorry when they are wrong. We should never let our pride get in the way. Let us practice to say I’m sorry when we are wrong.

Lost Chances
I caught a glimpse of your face, saw the sad reflection of your smile,
And the longing in your eyes,
It spoke the question you were afraid to ask.
It is all so painful, the memories of the past.
When love was right before your eyes
You chose not to see
Thinking only of your youth and the need to be free.
The years have gone by quickly
and now you are all alone
You yearn for something you no longer have
Now it is much too late to turn back the clock.
Isn’t it funny how we never realize what we have until we lose it?
So often relationships fail because of lack of commitment. Partners take each other for granted and assume they will always stick around. Don’t be that person who let something good slip away and then live with regrets.

Few people make it big on the first published book. In fact many popular Authors today had a series of rejections before they got a chance to have their work published. Today’s Author have the advantage of self-publishing but it doesn’t make it any easier to make that best seller’s list.
Writing is an art that requires practice. Do not publish a book and think yea, I have made it, for you have only just begun the journey. Publishing is one thing but getting your book in front of readers is a painstaking task. The Authors that make it are the ones who know writing takes hard work, dedication and discipline. You will not get famous overnight, but with time you can make your mark as an Author.

As humans we all seek love. We want to know someone loves us. But how do you know if your partner loves you? Words are cheap. It is easy for people to say things even if they don’t mean it. As the old adage say, “words may lie but actions never do.” This is what you must rely on. Listen to the words but pay more attention to the person’s actions. How a person treats you is the way he or she feels about you. Pay attention!

“The 100”
Do you get bored by soap operas? Do you get tired seeing the same recycled materials being played out over and over again? If you do you are not alone.There is nothing better that watching an original series that keeps you on the edge of your seat, wanting more.
The 100 delivers. My daughter introduced me to it and I am hooked. It is a Science Fiction television series filled with drama. There is never a dull moment. It keeps you guessing, waiting with bated breath to find out what happens next. If you are a fan of “The Game of Thrones or, “The Hand Maid’s Tale, you will love “The 100.”
