A few weeks ago an Israeli Christian reportedly stabbed his seventeen year old daughter to death because he did not approve of her relationship with a Muslim man. Henriette Karra was killed in her family home a day after her high school graduation.
Before her murder she had reportedly left the family home to after abuse and threats from her parents and stayed part-time with her boyfriend’s parents. Her family proceeded to use threats to get her back home. After a meeting with a social worker she returned home. She is said to have told a family member that she was ready to convert to Islam. On learning this information the father stabbed her to death. He was arrested.
The question one must ask is which is worse her dating a Muslim or he murdering her. The things people do simply boggles the mind.
Don’t change so that people will like you. Be yourself and the right people will love you for who you really are. (unknown)

Are we headed for another war? One can only ask as talk heat up between the United States and North Korea. We can only hope that good sense previls as there are no winners in war and the casulties are usually the innocent civilians who want no part of it. #LetsTalkPeace
One of the most disturbing news story last week was that of a disabled man who drowned in Florida while a group of teens laughed, mocked him and filmed the incident. They all watched him drown and apparently thought it funny.
There is definitely a breakdown of moral values in society. As parents most of us do our best to raise decent human beings. But something has got to be wrong when a group of young men find it amusing that someone is drowning – basically taking their last breath – and feel no sense of compassion, no moral obligation to assist. It makes you wonder what else they will find funny?
