Perhaps you have written a great book, but like me you struggle with writing a good blurb that will catch the eyes of readers. This is something that you have to work on. Some people believe the focus should be on the cover and while the cover can draw the attention of readers, it is the blurb that usually gets my attention and help me decide whether I want to read the book. More and more people are taking the plunge into the world of writing. Many no longer wait, hoping a publisher will give them a chance and have taken the bold move to self-publish. However, because you are self-publishing that does not mean the quality of your work should not be on par with traditionally published authors.

It is never too late and you are never too old to see your dreams come true. Many people had dreams growing up but life got in the way of it. Some had to put their dreams on hold because they felt their families needed them more. Maybe you are one of those people. You have raised your children and you are proud of the way they turned out but now it is time to focus on you.
What was it you loved but you put on hold. Go after it now pursue that dream. It is not too late and you are bot too old. Do you, take that chance. Live your life without regrets wondering what if. Find the courage to pursue that dream today.
Yesterday was Trayvon Martin birthday. He would have been 25. Unfortunately his young life was cut short. His killer walks free. Let us forever remember this young man whose life was unjustly taken away.
