You Changed Me

Before I met you I was just an ordinary guy,
Chasing all the girls,
Love then and leave them was my motto,
To me it was just a game.
There was no real commitment,
And that was how I wanted it to be,
I wanted to have them all and yet be free.
But then you walked into my life,
And girl you rocked my world,
I took one look at you and knew,
You were no ordinary girl.
I tried so hard not to fall for you,
But against my will I did,
And I knew my days of chasing girls were over
Because all I wanted was to be with you.

My charm didn’t work on you,
Like it did with all the others,
You said I was just a player,
And you could do much better.
I tried so hard to win your heart,
I tried to make you see,
That this was not a game I played,
My love for you was real.
I couldn’t make you slip away,
I knew I had to change.

Now I am a much better person,
And it is all because of you,
You say you are proud of me,
And I just want you to know,
It is you who is responsible,
For the man I have become.
