As most of you would have noticed by now there have been changes in the Reader on WordPress. I was having difficult navigating it since it seemed more complicated that the previous one until I figured it out. On each post in the reader there is an icon – three little dots in the upper right hand corner. When you click on it there is a list where you can see Follow, Visit Site, Block Site Or Report Site. You can access any one of the site in the reader from here with just one click. This makes so much more sense. It is simple and it is quick. In fact it is much easier to get to the sites than before. Thanks WordPress.

How to Tag More Than 50 Friends in a Facebook Post
Recently I was updating my status on Facebook in a post to let my friend know about the publication of my book GHOSTS of HIS PAST. I wanted to tag some of the people on my friend list in the post but found I could not tag more than twenty. I went on google to find out how I could tag more than 20 people. I found most of the suggestions a bit confusing and complication. So not fully satisfied with the suggestions I went back to my post and clicked on the icon on the upper right hand corner and there in was in the drop down menu Tag Friends. It was that simple.
So here goes: Write your post, tag your first twenty friends and post to timeline. After you post click on the icon in the upper right hand corner and choose Tag Friends from the drop down list. Once you click on it your friend list will appear and you choose the people you want to tag in your post. When you are done press submit. You can tag up to 90 friends using this method.

STOP DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
New Jersey Cop Kills Ex-wife

Each year we talk about protecting women from abuse and call for an end to domestic violence but how much of this is just lip service? Is everything being done to protect women?
If we take a look at what happened to fifty-one year-old Tamara Seidle it seems like the answer is no. Seidle was shot to death by her ex-husband who incidentally is a police Sgt. Their seven-year-old daughter was put through the trauma of seeing her father killing her mother.
This woman was in an abusive relationship. She knew her life was in danger and sought help but received none. According to reports she made several attempts to get a restraining order and was not granted one. Her ex-husband was an esteemed member of the police department and maintaining his high status was apparently more important than saving her life.Tamara Seidle died because the system failed her. How many more women will have to die before we stop talking and start implementing stronger measures to protect them?
CHOOSE LOVE OVER HATE
“When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they can seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall. Think of it–always.”
― Mahatma Gandhi
Evil will raise it’s ugly head and hatred may seem to win but good will win over evil and love will prevail. Let us stand in solidarity with the people of South Carolina. With love we shall overcome evil. With LOVE WE SHALL CONQUER HATE!
South Carolina Church Massacre
All too frequent this scene is played out where people are senselessly massacred. How many more will have to die before those who profit from selling guns realize the sorrow and pain it is causing innocent people and their families. In a place of worship where people gather to worship nine are brutally murdered by the GUN yes the GUN, that was once again in the wrong hand. How many more will have to die before stronger GUN laws are put in place to protect the lives of the innocent.
How many more families will have to suffer the agony of having their love ones taken from them in the gruesome fashion? The act committed against these people is just sheer evil. There was a GUN in the hand of someone who had no respect for the lives of others. Dylann Storm Roof, took away those people’s lives leaving their loved ones to mourn their loss. For those who justify the continued sale of GUNS as if they are nothing more than toys I ask of you when will it be enough. How many more will have to die?
There are no words adequate enough to comfort the grieving families. May God shower you all with strength as you face one of the worst tragedy imaginable. The Grace of God be with you all and may their souls Rest In Peace.

Bruce Jenner Transition
For most of this week a lot of our news headline focused on Bruce Jenner Transition to a woman. It was a media circus and the talk on everyone lips. The media coverage it got would make one thing this was a phenomenal event, a first of it’s kind.
It is somewhat amusing how the media creates little Gods out of those they conceive to be rich and famous and give recognition only to the things that they do. Bruce Jenner did not do anything extraordinary. He simply did something that many before him have done. Frankly my recognition would be given to the first man who took the brave step to transition during the time when it was taboo and looked down on. Many of these individual look much more feminine and less of a drag queen but will never get recognized because they are not rich and famous. In this world of hypocrisy it doesn’t get any better.
Small Penis Competition
Did you know there is a Small Penis Competition? Oh yes there is. The Small Penis in Brooklyn Pageant is scheduled to take place at Brooklyn’s Kings County Saloon in Bushwick, on June 13. Competitors will strip down and display their genitals through underwear and swimsuits at the competition. The winner of the smallest penis will win a prize of $500, a crown and a sash. The organizers apparently are having difficulty finding contestants. Surprised????
Pastor’s Wife Defends Josh Duggar
A Texas pastor’s wife sparked controversy when she voiced her opinion that Josh Duggar who admitted to molesting five girls should be left alone to live his life.
Carrie Hurd said what Josh did, when she was a child it was called ‘playing doctor’. She further suggested that the victims should also be held accountable. Mrs. Hurd incidentally is the mother of eleven children.
The Duggar Scandal

The latest fallout in Reality TV comes in the wake of sexual molestation allegations against Josh Duggar of TLC hit Reality TV show 19 Kids and Counting. This happened before the family’s entry into reality TV in 2008. Chances are if TLC had gotten wind of this back then they would never have gotten the show in the first place.
I have never watched the show so I cant’t speak much about it. Too many people have gotten caught up in reality shows. Back when it started with Flava Flav and I Love New York it was entertaining and interesting but by the time it got around to Bret Michaels it was already loosing that reality feel. Truth is what you see is what they want you to see. People put reality TV stars on a pedestal, they can do no wrong and they in turn feel obliged to live up to that image. Subsequently unpleasant things are swept under the rug. I hope that those molested got counselling to help them live a positive and meaningful life.
