Trump As President?

Amidst all the riots and chaos presently taking place I dread to imagine what would happen if Donald Trump becomes the next President of the United States.  America needs a person who can not only unify people here in America but one who is capable of maintaining good relations  with the rest of the world. Trumps is plantings seeds of division, bigotry and hate that will undoubtedly bear fruits. Yes he is different, yes he speaks his mind but is that all the quality that we are looking for in a president. What started out as a joke is not longer funny. We must choose sanity, Integrity and peace over arrogance and bigotry.

Word of the Day – Anger

We are faced with situations at one time or another that make us angry. This is a part of human nature… we have feelings and emotions. However it is not healthy to hold on to anger, for your own healing and peace of mind you have to let it go

Ephesians Chapter 4 V 26&27 says “Don’t sin by letting anger control you. Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil.”

Word of the Day: APPEARANCE

Do not allow yourself to be fooled by the outward appearance of man. Many are wolves in sheep clothing. They dress in finery and show a good outward appearance but their hearts are black.

1 Samuel 16 V 7 says: But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”

Presidential Elections 2016

The present Republican election campaign is nothing short of hilarious. The Republican Party spent eight years opposing everything that President Obama tried to do. When the presidential campaign began their focus was still on President Obama. By the time it dawned on them that President Obama was not running for election Donald Trump had already hijacked the party and was ahead of the pack and pulling away from the rest of them. It was only then that they took their focus from Obama. But their attempts to discredit Trump have been futile. The horse has already gone through the gate and pretty soon they might find themselves taking orders from Trump and there is not a damn thing they can do about it. Good job Republican Party you have proven to the world that the only thing you are good at is opposing.

Inspirational Quote

“Simplicity, patience, compassion.
These three are your greatest treasures.
Simple in actions and thoughts, you return to the source of being.
Patient with both friends and enemies,
you accord with the way things are.
Compassionate toward yourself,
you reconcile all beings in the world.”

Remembering Trayvon Martin

February 5 1995 – February 26, 2012

On February 26, 2012 Trayvon Martin an unarmed black teenager was shot dead in cold blood. He did nothing wrong and was unnecessarily targeted and killed. Trayvon Martin got no justice as his killer George Zimmerman walked free.

Trayvon it wasn’t fair that you died so young

Your story had only just begun.

You will never get the chance to fill the pages in your book of life

There were so many things that you never got to do.

Though you are gone your memory lives on

And we will always remember you.

We need to fix a justice system which allows a man who targets and kills an unarmed black boy to walk free but convicts a rookie cop who accidentally shoots a man on a dark staircase. Rest In Peace Trayvon.

Love

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”
