The Things We Do

  Darlene Wellington’s discovery of her husband’s affair with his new secretary devastated her. Alone in a club, drowning in her sorrows, Darlene met Pete Logan, a handsome stranger and a good listener. An instant friendship developed between them. She agreed when Pete suggested they go to the countryside to his grandmother’s cottage for a week. She needed the time to think about her future and her marriage.  Charles’ near miss with death and the need for lifesaving surgery force Darlene to give up any idea of a relationship with Pete and be by her husband’s side, assisting with his recovery. Just when she thought they could save their marriage, Darlene receives news that will either bring them closer together or tear them apart forever.
