Remember That God Cares

When tempest-tossed and full of hurt

And life is hard to bear;

When nothing seems to satisfy,

Remember that God cares.

When you’re fed up with life itself-

Yes, of the whole affair –

When feeling sad an unworthy,

Remember that God cares.

Reach out when it is hardest to,

When you want to give up,

For that’s the time you need Him most,

When heartache fills your cup

He will never leave you comfortless,

We’re promised in His word,

So don’t hesitate to seek Him –

His help you are ensured.

And when the time comes once again

That sunshine fills your days,

Give thanks to Him who helped you through

And sent those golden rays.

Each day your whole life through,
May health and happiness be yours
Day in and out anew.
May each rainbow that you seek to find
Not e’er be sought in vain,
May each cherished goal you have in sight
Be yours to have and gain.
May hopes and dreams that you possess
One day for you come true,
May God walk always by your side
And light the way for you.

A Thought for Today

Hold on to dreams and don’t give up hope. When things go wrong hold on strong. Believe in tomorrow and that things will get better. The sun will not always shine. There will be days when dark clouds will linger. There will be days when things will go wrong. There will be days when it all comes together and everything will be fine. Whatever your day be grateful you are alive and give thanks!
