Just completed the final chapter in my new Novel GHOSTS OF HIS PAST. Now I have the daunting task of reading it through for errors and make corrections. Will be publishing it in Create Space. Hopefully it should be on the bookshelf by February.

Christmas is Jesus
Who came down to earth
In the form of a baby,
Came to offer new birth.
Christmas is music
With singing and praise.
Christmas is sharing,
In numerous ways.
Christmas is holly,
With tinsel and light.
Christmas is joyful
With bright colored sights.
Christmas is giving,
When God gave His Son;
To offer redemption,
For the wrong we have done.
We need to accept Him,
This Gift from above.
For Christmas is Jesus,
God’s promise of Love.

Christmas Wishes
Merry Christmas
It’s Christmas Sweet Christmas

The church bells are ringing
And the choirs are singing
The songs of our dear saviors birth.
It’s Christmas, sweet Christmas
And people are praying
That there will be peace on earth.
Our friends send out greetings
And families have meetings
With joy and great holiday cheer.
It’s Christmas, sweet Christmas
And people are hoping
This feeling will last through the year.
For Christ is the reason
For this Holy Season
And blessings stream from Heaven above.
It’s Christmas, sweet Christmas
And people are thanking
The Lord for the gift of such love.

May the spirit of Christmas find a place in your heart. Be of good cheer and to all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Eric Garner Grand Jury Verdict
The verdict in the Eric Garner case is a disappointing one. Sadly I did not have enough faith in the justice system to believe the outcome would have been any different. Whether we want to believe it or not there is a serious race issue in America.
The question is how can we fix it. There is something wrong with a system which allows law enforcers to take the lives of black men and know they have nothing to worry about and no one to answer to.
I feel for the family of Eric Garner. I understand their pain. It is never easy to lose a loved one especially in the manner in which Garner lost his life. White lives are not the only ones that matter, black lives matter too.
Homeless Man Gets a Home
This video is a confirmation that there are still good people in this world who with selfless acts of kindness are able to make a difference in the lives of others. The world would be so much of a better place if more people take the time to care

Mother Nature at Work
On Friday we awoke to freezing temperatures and snow-covered grounds. It was the kind of weather in which you remain indoor and not venture out unless you have to.
It disrupted many lives as school closed their door and many were unable to make it to work because of the harsh conditions. We were once more reminded that there is no force stronger than that of nature.
Happy New Year 2014
As we usher in the New Year let us be mindful of those who did not get the opportunity to see another year and give thanks to our Heavenly Father that we are still here.
The New Year offers new hope and new opportunities to see our dreams come to fruition. Let us take the opportunity to pursue those goals that we were unable to achieve in the past year and work hard at taking them from just dreams to realities.
Let us refrain from listening to the voice of doubt which tell us we can’t and instead have enough confidence to pursue those dreams and make them come true.
Let this be a year of cleansing. Let us free ourselves of hate, which is like a cancer that is destroying our world. Let us be more accepting of people who are different from us. The hatred of people because of race, skin color, social standing and sexual preferences is something we must try to rid our world of. We are not put here to judge one another but instead to live in peace and harmony.
Let the year 2014 be one of: Acceptance, Productivity, Achievements, Prosperity, Peace, Love and Happiness for everyone. A Very Happy New Year to one and all!
