HAPPINESS
Life is for us to live, enjoy, and be HAPPY. Enjoyment and peace of mind comes when we realize that we are in charge of our HAPPINESS. We must never put our HAPPINESS in the hands of anyone and never allow another person to be in control of our HAPPINESS. In fact the person who depends on another for his or her HAPPINESS will often end up being disappointed. Be the master of your HAPPINESS, own it, claim it and never allow anyone to take your HAPPINESS away.

PATIENCE
Often, in life we need to have PATIENCE. Things don’t always happen as fast as we want them to and we worry and fret. But we must be reminded that nothing happens before the time. Have PATIENCE and know that everything will happen in due time. God is never too early or too late He is always on time.
If you have gone through this world and have never lifted a hand to HELP someone in need you have not done much for humanity and the world will not miss you when you are gone. Most of us at some point in time in our lives have all needed HELP. We must never hesitate to HELP others whenever we can.
COMPASSION
In this cold, hard world more and more people seem to lack COMPASSION. We have become indifferent to the plight of others. We have ceased to care. Let us show COMPASSION to those who are suffering in our world. Let us show COMPASSION to victims of war, diseases, discrimination and poverty. Let us have COMPASSION in our hearts for all of humanity.
PERSEVERANCE
It is often said that ‘The race is not for the swift but for those who endure.’ Often success comes about as a result of PERSEVERANCE. It is easy to throw in the towel and give up but with PERSEVERANCE that dream that we are about to give up on can become a reality. Remember it was through PERSEVERANCE that the tortoise defeated the hare. It may be a fairy tale but a valuable life lesson. PERSEVERANCE wins.

Most News Headlines these days begin on a negative note. I urge everyone in 2016 to stay away from the negativity that surrounds us and begin each day with a positive word.
Today’s word is LOVE. The lack of LOVE is one of the biggest problem in the world. Let us begin to show more LOVE in our homes, in our schools, and the wider society at large. Let us embrace LOVE. Let us treat one another with LOVE. Let us interact with one another today with LOVE.
When Love is shared it multiplies
Like violets in the spring
And suddenly the world becomes
A many splendored thing.
Love always makes us young at heart
The best that we can be,
When we reach out to others
In love and charity.
Love comforts and consoles us
When sorrows come our way;
Renews our strength and fosters hope
When we take time to pray.
When love is share, we too receive
The blessings it affords,
For it plays upon our heartstrings
The happiest of chords.
The greatest love the world has known
Was shown at Calvary
When God so loved lost sinners that
Christ died for you and me
When love is shared, it changes things
And honors God above,
For the greatest gift He gave us
Was His redeeming love.

An Attitude of Love
Life presents us with challenges that we must overcome
And sometimes all the detours can leave the senses numb.
Life is filled with stumbling blocks we pass along the way,
But it can become a stepping stone when love comes into play.
Whenever there’s an obstacle that we must rise above,
It helps to overcome it with an attitude of love.
For anger never solves a thing and stress will bring us down
But love unlocks the doorway where hope and faith are found.
So many things divide us throughout the human race,
But love’s the great uniter, the smile on mankind’s face!
Life presents us with challenges that we must rise above,
And blessed is he who can maintain an attitude of love.
