We did not break the glass ceiling, Hillary did not win the presidential election but the fact that she came this far gives us hope as women that nothing is unattainable if we work hard at it. Yes a small fire burns within us and we hold hope in our hearts that a woman can one day become president of this nation.

We know the road will not be easy. We know that we will have to work twice as hard but I believe that one day a woman will create history by becoming the leader of one of the greatest nation on earth, The United States of America.
Thank you Hillary Clinton for giving women hope and a voice.

I was hoping she would get there Marva such a shame, but yes she does give us hope.
I did too, I was hopeful but someday that dream of a woman being president may become a possibility.
Me too.
Beautifully stated, Marva…
Thank you so much
Maybe when the worst is behind us. We need a woman in the White House. Maybe this isn’t the right one.
I guess it just wasn’t her time.
Soon we will see the new generation will smash the glass and beyond the glass.
That is true there is hope.
I suspect she could have been president if she didn’t have so many skeletons in her closet. I’d love to see a woman as president as long as her moral character is intact.
Society is full of too much double standard. Neither one was completely morally correct.
Undoubtely! I wrote about it in my post Choose a Beaty at the eve of presidential elections: you had the first black president and it was a time for woman to tule in America!
I thought that would have happened but America was not ready for a woman president.
