Book Review

I am a little behind in my reading goals but I will do my best to catch up. A book I finished reading recently is “Jane Eyre” by Charlotte Bronte. This is an old Classic and some of you may have read it before.

What I love about this book is its refreshing honesty and simple style. I love Jane’s bluntness, her honesty and her innocence in regards to matters of love. Her story is relatable even today for those who are caught up in the system of foster care and children’s homes. Her story is one of strength and survival and finding love in the end.

If you like classics, try this one!

Reading Challenge

I am now on to my third book as apart of my reading goals for this year. I am happy to say that I am on track despite having a busy schedule. The book I am currently reading is ‘THE BROKEN CIRCLE’ by Enjeela Ahmadi-Miller. I will write a review when I complete it.

Reading creates opportunities to gain knowledge.

Book Review

I have finished reading ‘BLOOD AND JUSTICE’ by Rayven T. Hill which is my second book as a part of my reading challenge for this year. As promised you can read the review below.

Blood and Justice: A Private Investigator Serial Killer Mystery (A Jake & Annie Lincoln Thriller Book 1)

Blood and Justice is quite interesting. It is slow paced but nevertheless intriguing. The story is about a teenage girl, Amelia James, who is kidnapped by Jeremy Spencer who has a vendetta against anyone he considered a thief. He murdered Amelia’s companion who had shoplifted while in high school but because she was innocent he held her hostage instead of killing her. Her mom hires two private investigators to find her and it takes them a while to figure out that the seemingly harmless Jeremy was the kidnapper. By the time they did Jeremy had killed two more people. Both had stolen something. It was suspenseful, wondering if he would kill Amelia or set her free.

Eight Years of Blogging

It is amazing how quickly time goes by. This October will be eight years since I started this blog. I have not always been consistent but I am proud of the fact that I am still here. I have noticed that quite a few bloggers I used to interact with when I started out are no longer around but I have met some new people along the way.

I am making a few small changes to the blog. I will be doing book reviews posting inspirational quotes and keep abreast of current news stories. My goal is blog, and interact with you all in 2019. Let’s make this a fun and exciting year. Happy Blogging!
