American Swimmers Lied About Robbery

The senario surrounding the story by American swimmers who claimed that they were held at gun point in Rio has taken a new and interesting turn. Brazilian authorities claimed that the swimmers fabricated the story. Survelliance camera of the swimmers seem to dispute the story that they were robbed.

At a time when all eyes are on Brazil as the world’s attention is captured by the World Olympics it is unfortunated that these athletes would bring such negative attention to themselves. Hopefully this will serve as a lesson to others.
