Vanishing Dreams

She tries to keep herself afloat,
Her dreams took a nose dive and vanished.
Like a bird she went out on a limb,
But the limb got broken,
So did her wings.
Her shattered dreams were
Blown away and scattered.
So she faces the new day
Trying to find the pieces of
her broken dreams.
