Winter Days

Snowflakes fall upon the ground
on the frigid winter day.
Winter boots and coats and hats, are no match
for this kind of weather.
Layers of clothes and there is still no escape,
from the bitter cold.
The wind is howling outside the door,
it seems like winter is here to stay.
