A twenty-two-year old man has been arrested in the death of a two year old girl in Oklahoma City. The child was taken to hospital after she was found not breathing. Examinations revealed that she had been sexually assaulted. The child suffered injuries to a number of internal organs and lost a lot of blood. The man is held without bail on charges of rape and murder. Reads like a horror story doesn’t it, but what I find even more disturbing is that according to the police the mother of the child refused to give them a description of the man who happens to be her boyfriend. The report also stated that the sheets were stripped off the child’s bed; the room vacuumed and wet laundry found in the washer. Was this an attempt of a cover up? How horrible for a toddler to have to die this way. Why is there so much evil in the world?

Like you this is how I feel. It is the job of adults to protect children especially one so young but this abuse was simply horrible.
So very very sad….
i almost stop breathing reading this article… why, why,,,, just two years of age…. why… Wow… my heart hurts so much for this child…

I apologize for not clicking the like button. I just feel too sick over the state of this world. But your post is good. I agree. I am seeing such a sad decline in the feminine role of Mother, protector and voice of reason in the midst of insanity.
No apology necessary I do understand, it is a sad state of affair that those must vulnerable are the ones that suffer the most.
It, still, amazes me that such tragedies continue to happen. I am sorry for this mother whose twisted mentality blinded her to a true mother’s love. Even more so, I am saddened that this baby was robbed of the future she was created to thrive in. Thank you for visiting.
