Peace and War

 

I am not only a pacifist but a militant pacifist.
I am willing to fight for peace.
Nothing will end war unless the people themselves refuse to go to war.

I find this quote to be true. We  will never have peace until men and women of every
nation refuse to go to war. Will such a day ever come? For me to believe that would mean
I am living in a fool’s paradise!

  1. I totally agree with yo but I fail to see how you can be a ‘militant pacifist’ the title is a contradiction in itself. Sadly the human race on the whole is too greedy evil and nasty to ever give up war. Sadly these stupid people only see short term and only what relates to them. …….. We have not learned anything since we first crept or slithered on to this earth I see no hope for us now!

    1. I agree I see little hope that war will ever end. About the term ‘militant pacifist’ I believe the writer is saying he loves peace and is willing to fight for it in other ways besides war.
