Happy New Week

It’s another Monday, so grateful to be alive. Let us rise, shine and make this a productive week. Remember if things are tough now its only temporary. Your breakthrough will come. Don’t give up hope!

Each of us can play a part in making the world a better place. We can learn to be more accepting of each other, and use the resources available for the betterment of all. In a world of plenty no one should have to be homeless or go hungry. The world has enough wealth for us all but sadly many waste things while others go wanting. However, all is not lost. Each one of us can make a difference. We all can make a change.
Just because you failed that one time doesn’t mean you should give up. Often it takes many tries before you get it right. So often people compare their lives with others without knowing their journey which got them to that point of achieving success. Some people’s story would bring tears to your eyes. So, as I said before, whatever you do, don’t give up.
So often people fail to see their blessings because they are so busy complaining. Sometimes we must stop for a moment, reflect on our lives and give thanks. To wake up each day is in itself a privelege we enjoy. Therefore we must always give thanks. Even if what you have may seem small in comparison to others, still give thanks. Gratitude for small things will help you to be more appreciative of the big ones!
Be the voice of compassion, in this negative world where people are quick to tear down others, ridicule, and criticize. We don’t all have to agree, but that does not mean we should treat others unkindly. Day by day and step by step let us learn to be kinder and more understanding.
Sometimes people shun you when you have nothing, but want to be your friend after you have achieved success. Keep it real and know who your true friends are.
There is no real winner in a war. Perhaps egos are satisfied, but there are no winners. There can never be a replacement for the lives lost unnecessarily on either side. There will be no solution for the families torn apart forever. How can this be a just cause when the goal is the destruction of another man’s country? How can it be fair when those calling to start a war is rarely, if ever at all, on the battlefield fighting and risking their own lives? It is easy to give the command when your own life is in no danger. We can only hope common sense will prevail and this senseless war will end. No more children should have to die unnecessarily. While we support Ukraine we must also condemn the discrimination experienced by people of color as they too try to flee for their lives. Everyone’s life matters. We are in this together. We pray that this war ends soon.
I believe there are more good people in the world than there are bad and If we focus on the positives in life we will see this. We can see the good in others if we choose to. However If we choose to focus on the negatives we will forever be talking about the enemy and see each other as adversaries rather then our brother’s keeper. There is nothing the devil likes more than an atmosheres of hate and division. Choose a side to be on.
As the year draws to a close I am most grateful that God has brought us through yet another year. With the COVID-19 pandemic, many did not survive and many familes had to deal with the sorrow of losinng their loved ones. Going into 2022 things are not looking any brighter with the current surge in new case. However we must not give up hope and continue to take whatever steps neccessary to stay safe as we adjust to a new norm. I wish for one and all a brighter and more proserrous 2022. Have a Happy Bew Year!
May the joy of Christmas find a place in your heart. May it find you all in good spirit. May blessing flow in abundance. I wish to all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year!
