If there is something that you are passionate about do not despair or give up hope if you find that attaining success is harder than you think. Sometimes it takes a series of trial and errors to get it right.
From A Man’s Perspective
Recently I came across a Facebook video of a man sharing his views about the growing nudity displayed by women. He voiced his concern that woman are not taking pride in themselves any more and seem to think they have to walk around half-naked to catch the eyes of a man. He warns that they will attract attention but from the wrong men and that they should take more pride in themselves because a man can spot a good woman from a distance even if she is fully clothed.
I am noticing this growing trend of women wearing less and less and I feel sad that women feel they have to go to this level in order to feel attractive. Women please be reminded that respect begins with you.
I am now on to my second book in my 2019 reading challenge. I am now reading BLOOD and JUSTICE by Rayven T. Hill.
So far it is an interesting read. Will give a review when I finish reading the book. Feel free to share any goals you might have set for 2019
Hi everyone. I am so excited. I just finished writing my book titled ‘ALONE GIRL.’
ALONE GIRL is a story about a young girl’s search for identity. Reeling from the rejection of her father Amelia’s journey takes her down a self-destructive path of men and sex. Will Amelia ever be able to leave her past behind?
I am seeking Beta Readers. If you love reading and are interested in reading this book leave me a comment or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks to everyone who responds!
My reading challenge for 2019 is off to a great start. I started with THE FORGOTTEN HOURS by Katrin Schumann and completed it in three days. I promised to give you a review and here is a brief one.
I gave this book a three star because it did not deliver as I expected it to. The flow of the story was a bit slow. I kept waiting for that exciting moment that never came. The overall theme of the story is clear and relevant in today’s world were so many women have to deal with sexual assaults. The flow would have been better without the use both past and present tense to get the ideas across. The characters were also not well developed, however it was an interesting read.
In my next post I will tell you the current book I am reading.
Never give up on your dreams even though at times the going gets tough.
Follow you heart and let it lead you to your destiny!
Any time you see a turtle up on top of a fence you know it got some help.
Life is short don’t be afraid to do what makes you happy!
Years ago when I was much younger reading was my favorite hobby. However I have found myself reading less and less. This year I plan step up on my reading. My goal is to read at least 12 books this year. I consider one book a month an attainable goal considering that there was a time when I was reading a book a day or every two days.
My first book which I already started reading is THE FORGOTTEN HOURS by Katrin Schumann. I don’t know much about this author but I will give you my feedback on the book when I am through.
It is now more than two weeks since the partial government shutdown and like in most situations the ones who played no part in it are those most affected. I am all for border security, most of us are but surely there has to be a better way than to hold the people of this country to ransom.
This obsession with a wall seems to be more of a desire to satisfy Trump’s ego than it is about securing the borders. While the power play continues and the government fail to come to a resolution hard working taxpayers must worry about how they are going to pay their bills. How is this okay? Isn’t ironic that politicians usually say they work for the people and yet in so many situations the people have no say in what they do?
